Damen Dredging Equipment

Damen Dredging Equipment will be present at the Europort Maritime. The booth will be a joint one with many members of the Damen Shipyards Group. On show will be a new development, the improved DOP submersible dredge pump.

The DOP submersible dredge pump has undergone a face-lift recently. The DOP pump, which has been designed in the 1980's, has seen a large range of improvements. After consulting the many Dutch and foreign contractors, the DOP has for instance a new hydraulic design of the impeller and other wearing parts, mounting of the wearing parts has been simplified, an inspection piece has been added to remove dirt from the impeller easily, the pipe routing has been improved. Quite some improvements to a proven dredging tool are ready for your inspection at the Damen booth!
